Bionova Silution is a bioavailable liquid silicon fertilizer, developed by Bionova laboratories to improve the structural health and overall resistance of plants grown indoors or outdoors. Silicon (Si) is a recognised beneficial element that strengthens the cell wall of plants, giving them increased mechanical and chemical resistance.
Plants regularly treated with silicon show better resistance to fungi (powdery mildew, botrytis), pest insects, heat stress, drought and nutrient deficiencies. Silicon also improves stem posture, reduces lodging and promotes better light penetration through the plant canopy.
Silution is formulated as soluble potassium silicate, directly absorbable by roots and through foliar application. It slightly adjusts pH upwards, which can be useful in systems with acidic water. Compatible with all Bionova nutritional programmes.
Recommended dosage: 0.5 to 1 ml per litre of water. Use throughout the cycle, from growth to flowering.
